There are two types of people who will tell you that you cannot make a difference in this world: those who are afraid to try and those who are afraid you will succeed.

Scribbled Indian Currency Notes [RS] will not be accepted in banks

Do you want to know about the latest Clean Currency policy rule of the Reserve Bank of India? Get the full details here about what to do the pen mark rupee note that you currently owned and about how to change it.

RBI's Clean Currency Policy

The Indian currency is one of the most misused currency in the world. It is difficult to find a Dollar or a Euro with an ink mark but its so easy to find an Indian Rupee with Scribbled words and marks. Even though there was an government rule stating not to wright on the currency note, it haven't implemented strictly but now the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had made an strict law named "Clean Currency Policy" which will comes effect from 1st January, 2014.

What is Clean Currency Policy?

Both the public and private sector banks will not accept the Indian Rupess (5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, 1000) for depositing in the bank which contains ink marks and scribblings thus the public will also started to avoid buying the abused currency notes from others and thus the practice of writing in the notes will also decrease.

Coins Status
On the other hand RBI's coins are worse for the public. The coins plays an important role in our daily money transactions and in India the coins are used from historical kingdoms. Once reserve bank released coins in different sizes and shapes which makes not only the blind people but also the normal people easy to identify the right coin even at the dark night but today the situation had changed!

Today the coins released by the reserve bank is really a trouble for blind and old peoples in India. The 1 rupee coin is bigger than the 2 rupee coin and all the coin are round in shape and its all for to reduce the production cost of the coins but the government doesn't seems to care about the blind people. Now the blind people need someone's help to identify the coin then how will they do their own job? No one seems to be care for them and the government must need to react to the issue.

Current Status

The Reserve Bank has reversed its decision which is a great disappointment!
